Applies to all CCMs with fishing vessels fishing for MLS in the Convention Area S15S (Australia, Canada, China, European Union, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Philippines, Chinese Taipei and United States of America). There is an exemption for SIDS, including territories, in the Convention Area, as well as for coastal CCMs that have a commercial moratorium on landing MLS (NZ)

1.  Commission Members, Cooperating Non-Members, and participating Territories (CCMs) shall limit the number of their fishing vessels fishing for striped marlin in the Convention Area south of 15S, to the number in any one year between the period 2000 – 2004.
