No later than 30 June 2012, CCMs shall achieve 5% coverage of the effort in each fishery under the jurisdiction of the Commission (except for vessels provided for in paras 9 and 10). In order to facilitate the placement of observers the logistics may dictate that this be done on the basis of trips.
WCPFC10 agreed that CCMs should identify in Annual Report Part 2 the metric used to calculate the percentage of longline observer coverage in 2013 WCPFC11 agreed to a reporting procedure for ROP longline coverage (reminder sent in Circular 2015-08) - metric to be selected, and report to be provided in AR Pt 1
